Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب فضائل الجهاد باب ما جاء فى فضل الصوم فى سبيل الله
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِى الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُمَا حَدَّثَاهُ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ زَحْزَحَهُ اللَّهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا. أَحَدُهُمَا يَقُولُ سَبْعِينَ وَالآخَرُ يَقُولُ أَرْبَعِينَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ. وَأَبُو الأَسْوَدِ اسْمُهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الأَسَدِىُّ الْمَدَنِىُّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ وَأَبِى أُمَامَةَ.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever fasts a day for God's sake, God will remove him (1) seventy autumns (2) away from the Fire." One narrator relating this ḥadīth said seventy, while another narrator said forty. حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِى أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِىِّ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّارِ خَنْدَقًا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِى أُمَامَةَ.
